Robert Dyas

BDS DCH MMedSci FDS RCS, Specialist Oral Surgeon.

Robert Dyas qualified in 1986 from Sheffield University.  He is a Specialist in Oral Surgery who started his specialist training at Pinderfields Hospital, moving London and Sheffield where he was awarded a Wellcome Trust Training Fellowship, and FDS. He worked at the University of Manchester as a Lecturer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, organised and taught on the undergraduate / postgraduate courses in surgery, implantology and sedation. He gained his MMedSci in Psychology, winning a Medal from the RSM. Has published several articles and given talks worldwide.  He provides courses in Surgery, Implantology, Grafting and Behavioural Management - well over 600 people have attended the courses. He has a private practice limited to Oral Surgery and Implantology placing in excess of 500 implants per year, and has done well over 1000 sinus grafts and block grafts. He is Senior Lecturer on the Salford University Implant Course, elected ADI Committee member, ADI Mentor, Astra coach and SAAD sedation Mentor.

Mark Willings

BDS MFGDP Dip Imp Dent RCS

Mark runs the implant clinic at Horbury Dental Care and qualified from Guy’s Hospital in 1991. He is presently the Director of the Yorkshire Division of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (FGDP). Mark is also a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Implantology on the University of Manchester MSc Programme and a tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons Implant Diploma. He also acts as a mentor for a number of qualified dentists and is a Clinical Coach for Astra Tech. Mark is a member of the ADI and lectures nationally on the use of dental implants in practice.

Conor Donegan

BA BDentSci MMedSci FFDRCSI, Specialist in Periodontology and Oral Surgery

Graduated from the Dental School at Trinity College, Dublin University. He held a post in Maxillofacial Surgery at Nuneaton for 4 years. During this time he was admitted as a Fellow in Oral Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons (FFDRCSI). He then undertook monospeciality training in Periodontics and was awarded a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry (MMedSci) at Sheffield University in 1997. He is in Specialist practice in Derby providing a full spectrum of services for the advanced treatment of Periodontal Disease.

José Zurdo

LMS BDS (Barcelona) MSc (Gothenburg)

José Zurdo is a registered Specialist Periodontist working as a referral practitioner in Periodontics and Implantology at Mall Advanced Dental Care in Manchester and Carisbrooke Specialist Dental Centre in Leicester. He graduated in Medicine (Bilbao, 1983), specialized in Estomatology and General Dentistry (Barcelona, 1986), completed a Master in Implantology (NYUCD, 1995), a Preceptorship in Periodontics (Houston, 1999) and an MSc in Periodontics at the University of Gothenburg (2002). José is the course director of the MSc in Clinical Periodontology and senior lecturer and clinical tutor of the MSc in Implantology at the University of Central Lancashire.

Brendan F Flint

BDS MMedSci (Periodontology)

Brendan graduated in 1996 from University of Newcastle upon Tyne  and was awarded Merit in Restorative Dentistry and the James Sopwith prize in Conservative Dentistry. He is the now in the 5th generation of dentists in his family, the longest continous family line of dentists in Europe, with the practice established in 1879. Brendan has been partner in the fully private practice since 1999 treating complex restorative and periodontal cases.  In 2006, Brendan obtained a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry with Periodontal specialty and accepts referral from dental practitioners in Sheffield, Derbyshire and surrounding areas for patients with periodontal disease.
